| CARICOOS WRF-NMM 1km, Best Aggregated | The CARICOOS Weather Research Forecast (Weather Research and Forecasting Model (WRF)) model consists of a high horizontal resolution of 1 km is based on the WRF Nonhydrostatic Mesoscale Model (NMM) core. WRF-NMM was developed by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) National Centers for Environmental Prediction (NCEP). The model is run daily for cycle 00Z to produce a forecast length of 36 hours, but this only include the fisrt 24 hours which are consider as the Hindcast. | Near-Real Time Surface Ocean Velocity, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands, 2km Resolution, 2025-present | Surface ocean velocities estimated from High Frequency (HF)-Radar are representative of the upper 1.0 meters of the ocean. The main objective of near-real time processing is to produce the best product from available data at the time of processing. Radial velocity measurements are obtained from individual radar sites through the U.S. HF-Radar Network. Hourly radial data are processed by unweighted least squares on a 2km resolution grid of the Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands to produce near real-time surface current maps.\n\ncdm_data_type = Grid\nVARIABLES (all of which use the dimensions [time][latitude][longitude]):\nu (Surface Eastward Sea Water Velocity, m s-1)\nv (Surface Northward Sea Water Velocity, m s-1)\ndopx (longitudinal dilution of precision)\ndopy (latitudinal dilution of precision)\nhdop (horizontal dilution of precision)\nnumber_of_sites (number of contributing radars, count)\nnumber_of_radials (number of contributing radials, count)\n | http://dm2.caricoos.org/erddap/metadata/fgdc/xml/noaa_ndbc_6484_c6c4_c96e_fgdc.xml
